Photos from trip to Asia
Taiwan
Cute foo dog in from of the 大稻埕慈聖宮, there is a pork trotter noodle shop that’s incredibly dilicious and nofrill.

Probably my favorite photo from this trip. The boy is about 16 years old and I just like the color of his jacket and skateboard and his sense of going somewhere.

NTU has a uniquely blue track field (guess which other university also has a blue one?). I guess I’m old, universities now give me a feeling of youth that’s almost foreign, and I felt the same when I went back to CMU a couple of years ago.

Another favorite photo from this trip. Taipei has a noticably older population. This old lady was just collecting cardboard boxes on 迪化街

The streets in Taipei are old and vibrant at the same time.

Shanghai
Behold, the manificant BUND.

Japan
Setonaikai, the inner harbor of Hiroshima with numerous islands, is the highlight of this trip to Japan.

Belvedere Setoda by 川上 喜三郎, it’s like a modern torri that teleports you to a different world.

Mopads are definitely popular on the Ikuchi Island.

Guardrail by the sea, I’m just admiring the colors.

Hill of Hope, of the wildest things I’ve seen in my life with tons of Italian marble moved to this island to build this sculpture. Not to mention that it is actually located in a temple 耕三寺 that’s also wild itself.

Middle school kids having a field trip in Onomichi. They just found out I was taking a photo of them while they are taking pictures of themselves.

Ikuchi island is the largest lemon origin in Japan. They are delicious. And they are proud of it.
